"good journalism can make our world a better place"
Growing up in the Bay Area, I have learned that not everybody is aware of what goes on outside of the liberal bubble that we live in. As a journalist, one of my goals is to bring to light issues in the world that extend far beyond the red towers of the Golden Gate bridge. I have always loved reading and writing, and am very passionate about what goes on in the world around me. For me, journalism is a responsibility to create a well informed and better educated public, regardless of if it creates controversy or not. I have loved reading and writing from a very young age, and I write about some of the things that I am most passionate about. Next fall I will be studying journalism at American University, and I hope to go on to become a Washington Correspondent for a major publication someday. Check out my work!
